General Information

Selection and Compatibility

  • Do Beaudoin products require a box spring?

No, except for metal bed bases and upholstered beds designed to be used with a box spring.

  • What is the height of Beaudoin beds?

Bed height varies depending on the category, model, and type of legs or supports used. Some configurations offer a lower profile, while others allow for a greater height. Platforms and adjustable beds are the preferred options when greater height flexibility is required.

  • Is there space under the bed for storage?

This depends on the category and configuration. Metal bed bases, platforms, Fusion beds, and adjustable beds may offer under-bed clearance suitable for storage. The Reflexx platform is also available with integrated drawers. Upholstered beds do not offer open storage space under the bed, but some models may include an integrated drawer.

  • Can a headboard be added?

Most Beaudoin beds and platforms allow a headboard to be added. Some configurations may require specific options or components.

  • What is the weight capacity of Beaudoin beds?

Weight capacity varies by category, model, and size. Most beds offer a high weight capacity, reaching up to 850 lb for certain Queen-size models, including the mattress. The exact weight capacity is specified for each product.

  • Are Beaudoin beds compatible with all mattresses?

Most mattresses are compatible with Beaudoin beds. For adjustable beds, it is recommended to use a mattress specifically designed for adjustable bases.

  • Are upholstered beds compatible with an adjustable base?

Yes. A structure specifically designed to allow the installation of an adjustable base within our upholstered beds has been developed. It is essential to specify this requirement at the time of purchase to ensure the correct structure is provided.

Warranty and After-Sales Service

  • What warranty applies to products manufactured by Beaudoin?

Beds manufactured by Beaudoin, meaning all beds except adjustable beds, are covered by a 3-year warranty on the structure and a 1-year warranty on the fabric. The warranty is void and will not be honoured if the product has been reupholstered, treated with a coating, or modified in any way (for example, if a fabric protection product has been applied).

  • What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers manufacturing defects. Normal wear and tear, improper use, or accidental damage are not covered.

  • What warranty applies to products distributed by Beaudoin?

Warranties for adjustable beds vary depending on the model and its components. For exact information, refer to the product warranty details in the Description section associated with each model.

  • How do I proceed with a warranty claim?

All warranty claims must be submitted through the retailer where the product was purchased.
